Oronogo Fire Protection District (Non-City Entity)

The Oronogo Fire Protection District is a combination fire department with 18 Firefighters covering the City of Oronogo and the surrounding area, covering 21 square miles. The Department provides 24/7 services to the public that consists of structural firefighting, vehicle extrication, wildfire suppression, search and rescue, emergency medical response, and water rescue. The Department is staffed with 1 full-time Fire Chief, 3 full-time Driver Engineers, and is supported by 14 dedicated volunteers. The Department operates out of one fire station with 1 Rescue Unit, 3 Engines, 2 Tankers, 3 Brush Units  and 2 Inflatable Boats.
